For what is a run of the mill RPG, it holds a charm of it's own through strong writing and characterization that you don't normally expect for first projects. The humor was also a welcome touch, even if it breaks the immersion sometimes.
I enjoyed playing through your demo. It has a lot of potential!
For feedback, I'd recommend balancing the battles a little bit. The first boss especially, as his attacks can bring the whole party down in just a couple turns.
